The Final Countdown
August is over, and the project was supposed to be too. However, as it looked like we're not going to make it, the schedule was extended a bit. Now we're trying to get everything done by next Tuesday. This week Georgina's been distracted by a game design course she's taking and myself by the start of the academic year, but we've kept on working on the project between lectures.

How do you extract a long list of information from a Wikipedia page to a CSV file? With the magic of regular expressions, of course. I admit to having to do some manual editing, too, but I still feel like a ninja.

Things have been progressing pretty smoothly lately. However, they're progressing in a slightly different direction than I expected.
JSON and the Argonauts
Apparently web development can take you in strange directions. For example, installing Git to check out some in-development code to get a Javascript library working on IE. Actually using Git turned out to be quite easy. Figuring out how to use the visualization libraries while navigating around browser and library bugs has not been so easy, but we're making progress.
