Early Hapticrunch
At the start of this week we decided that we need to make working gestures and GPS location features to Super Awesome Fighters by the end of the week. Or at least that's what our merciless todo-flapboard commanded us to do.
Half way through the week our technical team managed to build a working GPS-asset for the project, and it turned out to be every bit as inaccurate that we anticipated. At the moment the GPS throws the user approximately 10-20 meters off the target, which makes it a bit hard to accurately shoot lightning at your enemies. However we are waiting to receive word of the indoor positioning device, so we can start testing it's accuracy in a combat situation.
At the moment Jukka is wrestling with some issues with smart compass not working simultaneously with 8 g accelerometer. Luckily we have alternatives to bypass this problem using 2 g accelerometer or gyroscope instead.
In the meantime, Vilja has been working on some epic scale UI design for the wristputer. Here's a preview:
