second week - innosummer 4

We´re on the right track

During our last Tuesday brainstorming, we decided to specify our project focus. From now on we´re going to concentrate on research, so that we know what we are dealing with and how we can make the most out of our project. We need to see the big picture.

We´re planning to divide our research into three different fields: source books and studies, questionnaire for gamers and finally testing the virtual game communities ourselves. This way we get the users point of view to the project. Some of us have already got hooked on 2nd life :)

This week we´re going to plan the questionnaire, which helps us to find out what drives people to play in virtual communities and how we can apply that to mobile phones.

Last week we also had an innovation training session with Leena Rapo from TUT. She helped all innosummer members to open up for new ways of thinking and brainstorming. All of us did a “double team” exercise in which we tried to solve a problem with certain methods. Our team got lots of new ideas and aspects to our project. Thanks to everybody!
