Local Buddy: 4th week

First week with the new concept idea.

It felt like we had reached the next level; We had upgraded our good ideas and discarded the bad ones. The major change to the earlier concept is "the radar view" which replaces the nowadays popular map. We want to give user the freedom to enjoy its surroundings and not to stare at the map all the time.

Olli and Timo finished the first demo on tuesday, three days earlier than expected - wow! The result was a demo where round targets move in a circle when the user is walking. Timo P. also did awesome work with illustrating our new ideas into informative pictures and Hanne created the basic graphical design for the radar view. Great work! It´s really cool to know that in my team there´s people who really know what they´re doing and do it well (and fast)!

On monday I finally got hold of our team supervisors from Nokia and arranged a meeting - It was time to get some answers. So on wednesday we met Joonas and Kimmo, who equally share the role of the team supervisor. We presented our new and improved concept idea and got good feedback. Its nice to know that someone is sincerely interested in our ideas and encourages us to move forward with our project.
